My name is Ronak Patel and I am chartered accountant from India. Currently pursuing Masters in Accounting and Analytics from Rochester Institute of Technology New York and pursuing US CPA. I completed my FAR and REG. I recently completed Quick books online essential Linkedin course and learning from official website intuit also. Before coming here in USA, I completed Post Graduate Certificate Program in International Accounting and Analytics from IIM Indore with 3.87 GPA. During my Masters, I gained some experience in US Tax return filing of Individual 1040, Corporate Return filing 1120 through Tax Act. Other subjects data analytics using R language, Information system Audit, Financial Statement comparison, Accounting Analytics. With over 10 years of experience in the field of accounting, auditing and taxation, In accounting I prepared financial statements including borrowing cost capitalization, Lease accounting, Asset retirement obligations, Ageing of receivables and payables and other related schedules. In auditing, I have carried out Internal audit, external audit and tax audits. In taxation, I have filed Individual, partnership firms and corporation income tax returns, sales and service tax returns. I have prepared MIS reports including KPI reports for finance wing, presented quarterly financial performance analysis in quarterly management meetings, reported daily sales budget vs actual, prepared sales budget, prepared costing sheet of the products as per management requirement, purchase rate variance report. I am also having the knowledge of SAP ERP, MS Dynamics ERP, Tally ERP (similar to Quick books) , MS Excel, MS Power Point, Power BI, VBA Macro etc. In addition to my professional work, I have a strong interest in painting. It allows me to explore my creative side and provides a refreshing break from the numbers and spreadsheets.
