I am a Board-Certified, fellowship-trained Orthopedic Sports Medicine Surgeon who specializes in the treatment of hip, knee, shoulder & elbow injuries. Having experience with sports medicine care for athletes of the NBA, NHL, NCAA and Professional Cricket, I understand the unique needs of athletes. My specific areas of interest and procedures include both primary and complex: hip arthroscopy & labral repair, gluteus & proximal hamstring repair, ACL reconstruction, meniscus repair, arthroscopic & open shoulder stabilization, labrum & rotator cuff repair, elbow tendon repair, and Achilles tendon repair. My patient care philosophy is a team-based approach, where the doctor and patient work together to obtain excellent results aligning with the patient's specific goals. I completed my Orthopedic Surgery residency at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. I gained additional expertise while completing fellowship training in sports medicine & hip preservation at the world-renowned Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in New York City, recognized by US News and World Report as the #1 hospital for Orthopedic Surgery. I have served as a physician for the Brooklyn Nets (NBA), St. Louis Blues (NHL), Iona College (NCAA), Texas Southern University (NCAA), and Professional Cricket including the ICC T20 World Cup. I have contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international conferences with several awards and grants.
