• Work with planning, engineering, quality and production departments to plan work according to the sanitation program; • Responsible for the sanitation program updates in accordance with General Mills’ guidelines; • Conduct cleaning operations audits and analyze them; • Coordinates corrective actions activities; • Performs claims and tasting traceability on a weekly basis for packaging defects; • Conducts research of causes following a claim and proposes corrective actions; • Writes sheets of major non-conformities and ensures validation by the Quality Manager; • Plans and follow ups of new hardware qualifications or following a change of production equipment, requalifies once a year all plant equipment; Responsible for daily sanitation activities in both wet clean and dry clean environment. Supervised 150 unionized production employees on 4 lines, ensuring production and CPC goals were met on a daily basis. Participated in CI initiatives to sustain growth and improve operations. Coordinated shutdown preplanning and cleaning tasks. Facilitated visits by CFIA and Steritech (pest control). Revised SOP’s and created OPL’s for sanitation functions. Led cost reductions through employee headcount reductions and realignment of hourly employee job duties. Held daily pre-shift meetings with crew and handover meetings with other Supervisors to communicate issues and organize activities. Participated in daily DMS meetings to review previous days production and initiate action required for improvements. Designed and implemented Master Sanitation Schedule to ensure integrity of all critical areas. Performed daily verification of payroll and weekly chemical inventory. Completed regular FSRA audits on entire facility and initiated work requests for defects. Visited other plants in the GMI network to benchmark activities. Participated in monthly conference calls with all Sanitation Supervisors in the GMI network to communicate issues and collaborate resources.

The production supervisor is responsible for the overall performance of production operations on packaging lines. He must work with the production manager to ensure a safe work environment. He also needs to ensure product quality, the efficiency of the production lines, reducing losses at the plant, improving profitability and the training and supervision of employees. • Inform and engage employees on topics related to health and safety at work, inspect the workplace and see compliance with OSH working methods; • Plan and supervise the work of employees of the production department, transmit objectives and ensure compliance with the established plan and assist as needed; • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, quality control and productivity; • Provide constant communication with the production teams on other shifts; • Improve the safety, quality, cost, waste reduction, efficiency, etc. using a methodology for continuous improvement; • Ensure training, coaching and integration of new employees; • Track records of employees who are under its responsibility and perform their evaluation in order to promote a positive work environment that encourages exceeded; • Manage labor relations, absences and time sheets; • Work directly with the operations director and by multidisciplinary way with the quality team and engineering team on projects of new equipment or products or projects to improve the quality, efficiency and optimization; • Participate in various committees and meetings; • Other related tasks.
