Support the Sr. VP – CFO with loan accounting activities including processing, general ledger and other electronic transactions.Identify and lead the implementation of tax strategies that will help to reduce the company’s overall effective tax rateAssist the company personnel in the processing and development of loan accounting concepts and entries in coordination with District Bank guidance.Determine proper treatment and documentation of transactions in the US (and certain foreign jurisdictions on a limited basis)Lead all financial and accounting activities, including responsibility for overseeing monthly, quarterly and annual financial closes in compliance with public company requirements, all elements of operational accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, tax, audit activities and share based compensation, internal management reporting, as well as coordination with independent auditing firms, tax preparers, and banksLead annual budgeting and forecasting processes, scenario analysis, adhoc financial analysis and financial support for business development. Develop appropriate financial targets and models and interact with employees at all levels of the organization including functional area heads, program leads and executive leadership.
