Works with stakeholders to provide a safe, orderly, and well-disciplined school environment conducive to teaching and learning. Seeks new approaches to school accountability and continuous improvement of student behavioral management. Oversees school discipline throughout the district for compliance and adherence to the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), school board policies, and the law. Serves as the district's homeless liaison to ensure compliance with The McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act.

Oversaw discipline for 5th through 8th grade students. Observed and evaluated teachers in accordance to district policy and LTAAP. Worked collaboratively with teachers to implement and administer the SWPBiS program. Ensured that data collection was done expeditiously and correctly and that it was used in the decision making process. Monitored personnel on a daily basis for compliance with school and district regulations. Developed and implemented duty schedules. Monitored after school activities such as club meetings, performances, and athletic events.

Effectively taught 8th grade English. Complied with Louisiana standards and benchmarks for middle and junior high ELA as well as prepared students for ELA portion of LEAP. Coached football and baseball. Sponsored yearbook club from 2000-2003. Volunteered to chaperone dances and monitor after school student activities.

Suspension on Site teacher for St. Bernard Parish School Board’s alternative school. Coordinated with each student’s teachers at base school to provide relevant instruction during short term suspensions at alternate site. Coached football at Chalmette High School.
