I have over twenty years of experience in the medical/healthcare industry, where I have served as a senior executive overseeing marketing, strategic business development and clinical trials for a variety of companies including Specialty Laboratories and Pathology, Inc. In these roles, I helped develop and commercialize hundreds of new or enhanced assays in the fields of oncology, genetics, immunology, infectious disease, neurology, endocrinology, hematology, and women’s health, and strategically position the organizations for growth and valuation. I have lectured internationally on the latest developments in personalized medicine, biotechnology, and laboratory science, and have published extensively. I have served as an advisor on the Molecular and Oncology Advisory Boards for Roche Diagnostics, am Editorial Advisor to Clinical Lab Products magazine, and on the Board of Directors for the California Medical Technology Association Education & Research Corporation. I have also been a judge for the prestigious International Health & Medical Media Awards. I currently consult for a variety of healthcare-related organizations in such fields as clinical trials, oncology, analytics, digital health, laboratory science, and diagnostics. In addition to my career in healthcare, I have worked in the entertainment industry for over twenty-five years. A writer, producer and actor, I began my screenwriting career while a graduate student in Biophysics. My first production “Inquisitor” is an action-adventure/thriller feature film set in the jungles of Peru and scheduled for release in 2017. I am also a member of SAG-AFTRA.I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, a Master of Science degree in Physics and a Ph.D. in Biophysics.
