Ron received his degree in Economics from Queen’s University and his law degree from Western.He dedicates his career as a civil litigator, to assisting real people, in need.After an initial period at a downtown Bay Street boutique litigation firm, Ron joined Stong Blackburn & Machon, an established Richmond Hill firm, in 1989, and would eventually become Senior Litigation Partner. As the firm evolved into SBMB Law, Ron’s successes as a civil litigator for the seriously injured victims of negligence, earned him a well-deserved reputation as a leading personal injury and medical malpractice lawyer. Ron has become a leader in his field of expertise. He has served on the executive of the Board of Directors of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association for several years. His trial successes have led to his being invited to lecture other lawyers on the use of demonstrative evidence at trial, the operation of focus groups in preparation for jury trials, and effective advocacy at all levels of court, to name but a few. His reputation, earned in the court room, serves his clients well in achieving excellent out of court settlements
