CurrentAs a senior litigation partner practicing medical malpractice and estate litigation with the Richmond Hill firm since 1995, Ron has a long history of achieving excellent results for his clients at every level of court. He is one of only a handful of lawyers in the Province of Ontario dually certified by the Law Society of Ontario, as a specialist in both Civil Litigation and Health Law (Medical Malpractice). Ron has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Court of Appeal and Supreme Court of Canada on a number of widely reported, precedent setting cases for his own clients and as counsel for other lawyers.Ron regularly publishes scholastic papers on litigation issues for lawyers and lectures for the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Bar Association and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association. He was elected by his peers as the President of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association in 2018 and frequently meets with government bodies to advocate for positive change in Ontario’s laws. Ron has chaired educational seminars for lawyers, and writes papers and lectured regularly on the subject of trial advocacy for the innocent victims of negligence.His most recent successes involve multi-million dollar settlements for the victims of medical malpractice and precedent setting estate litigation judgments.
