- Under the immediate supervision of a Registered Nurse, assist in providing basic nursing care to a group of patients.- Perform safe patients and tasks appropriate for age and developmental level in an organized, timely manner as delegated by the RN, and documents those care according to hospital guidelines. (ie vital signs, in-take and out-put, daily weights, daily hygiene care, nutritional supports, and repositioning.)- Support patient test/procedures by setting up and holding for procedures. Performing test and minor procedures. Collect urine and stool specimens according to protocol and document appropriately.- Immediately notifies Registered Nurse/Charge nurse of any pertinent changes in patient condition, abnormal vital signs or any patient/family concerns.- Utilizes appropriate safety and infection control measures. Ensure all emergency equipment is at bedside as appropriate.- Assists with admission of patient by setting up room prior to patient arrival, ensuring patient whiteboard is completed and orienting child/family to room and unit.- Performs routine clerical/secretarial tasks including accessing the computer, faxing information, answering phones, etc. Performs initial assembly and on-going maintenance of the medical record to include thinning, tear-down and cleaning of charts.- Performs ordering/stocking functions and serves as an errand runner as requested to meet unit needs.

(Jun 2011 - Dec 2012) Being a frontline cashier meant that my priority was to complete the customer's shopping experience by ensuring a positive, easy, and efficient check out. I was recognized as one of the department's leading cashiers by meeting a "void total" goal of ≤ 2.75% with a score of 2.36%, preventing fraud on several occasions, and helping out other departments.(Dec 2012 - May 2015) Being part of the FSHO and HD departments, my focus was on (1) the accurate distribution of merchandise from the in-store warehouse directly to the customer, (2) creating and scheduling home-deliveries and assembly orders, and (3) investigating and resolving any issues regarding after-sales.
