Public lands, abundant wildlife, and the freedom to enjoy both are what I inherited from those before me and grew up enjoying throughout my life. However, a deep-seated appreciation for them was also instilled within me, along with the need to preserve them for follow-on generations.I am fortunate enough to live in a place where I can take my own children out into wild places often and experience those same things I did while growing up. Seeing that excitement and curiosity reinforces my desire to ensure I help leave the environment in even better condition than what I received for my children when I pass it along to them.While I currently work for the DoD in a program management capacity, I am taking the next steps toward my goal of starting my own business in the outdoor industry. Focused on outdoor knowledge transfer, bridging the gaps between the various modalities of outdoor recreation enthusiasts, with the ultimate goal of preserving and improving our wild places.
