Chemical Services Engineer III, responsible for monitoring all secondary systems at PV 1, 2, 3. Also responsible for the collection and interpretation of all chemistry data in preparation for monthly reports. Interface with many disciplines, including NRC and INPO.Senior Chemistry Technician, during both full power operations and outage situations at Palo Verde and Conn. Yankee Power Stations.Assisted in the preparation of administrative procedures, analytical guidelines, chemical and effluent systems operations procedures, and task analysis development.Responsible for the coordination of lab analyses, interpretation of results, and operational recommendations in response to abnormal chemistry conditions.Responsible for the daily implementation of the Gaseous and Liquid Effluents Program, including P, I, & G sampling, permit generation, composite tracking, dose projection, and the proper operation of the alternate sampling system, with close attention to Tech Spec commitments.Familiar with Palo Verde Cask loading and storage processes.Experienced in the operation and calibration of analytical equipment, including: Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer, UV/VIS Spectrophotometers, Ion Chromatography, TOC, Liquid Scintillator, Canberra Gross Gamma and Multichannel analyzers.Fire Brigade trained at Conn Yankee Atomic Power Station.Responsible for design and control of growth and chemical contamination experiments for State of Massachusetts Shellfisheries Environmental Project.
