The WeNet Research Infrastructure is an upcoming online catalog for hosting, documenting and managing research datasets, currently in alpha as part of the WeNet project (https://www.internetofus.eu/). As a product manager I: • Collected customer requirements, to inform the top-level design• Translated the top-level design and requirements into a technical architecture and documentation actionable by the development team• Defined milestones on objectives and desired outcomes. Established criteria for measuring the development progress. • Coordinated project planning and execution with team members and team leads.• Managed benchmarks, testimonials and user interaction as a means for performance evaluation and to revise features/objectives

Knowdive is an AI research group at the University of Trento, that has successfully provided a data collection/dataset-generation service for research projects (Wenet and Qrowds: https://cordis.europa.eu/project/id/732194 ) and in collaboration with public statistical institutions (Eurostat: https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/cros/content/i-log_en). In this role I: • Defined the procedures for the required activities (Experiment design, data collection, dataset preparation and anonymization, Dataset analysis and refinement)• Defined service level, by using standardization frameworks like ITIL, to align performance to business needs• Defined the privacy protection regulation compliance procedures by interacting with the institutional Data Protection Officer and legal consultants• Defined and operated a data collection helpdesk to assist with common issues and obtain feedback from clients and end usersThe resulting datasets comprise data from 1088 participants in 8 countries over a total of 38 weeks, generating terabytes of logged information that were then prepared and summarized into a few gigabytes of legally anonymized data. These datasets cover domains such as transportation and mobility, food intake, pollution, academic performance, among others.

In this role I:• Outlined work plans, during the proposal writing phase. Determining resources, writing timelines and generating initial budgets as part of project scope determination.• Coordinated the collaboration of multimillion, multidisciplinary and multicultural teams across Europe and the world by organizing teleconferences, project meetings and other events• Clarified and kept track of main agreements, problems and progress in a manner that was transparent and actionable for all partners• Oversaw internal and external review procedures, producing reports and documentation capturing progress, risks and issues. Communicated with stakeholders at all levels.

Managed the development of components belonging to a still under R&D platform for representing information and knowledge into semantic knowledge graphs. Later moved to manage the development of the data collection app iLog ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.unitn.disi.witmee.sensorlog&hl=it&gl=US ).
