Headed the corporate law department of medical device manufacturer Pacesetter Systems, Inc. in Sylmar, CA from 1976 to 1982. Trained as a mediator and arbitrator. Established the insurance mediation division of the American Arbitration Association in Los Angeles. Directed all defense activity in the area of insurance bad faith in California, Texas and Florida for Allstate Insurance from 1983 to 1985 and managed Allstate's 36 attorney in house insurance defense firm in Glendale, CA from 1985 to 1991. Managed a 15 attorney in house insurance defense firm for The Hartford in Glendale CA from 1991 untill 2002. I was a member of the California State Bar Special Master program from 1998 until 2011.
