Monitor and review Contractor’s drawings, submittals and the Consultant’s replies concerning the timely processing of drawings/submittals. These include HVAC system, fire fighting system, plumbing / drainage system, building management system, Genset system, including building maintenance units (BMUs), etc. Attend weekly MEP design progress meetings & prepare the minutes of meetings, and attend General Progress meetings with the main contractor, other contractors and other members of the Project Management team. Attend Technical meetings with the A/E consultant to monitor / resolve submittals of materials / shop drawings, logistics and other related design issues. Raise-up any design issues as may be found and clarify with the A/E consultant. Review and monitor the work program submitted by contractors and highlight activities of concern and / or Work that are in delay. Work closely together with the other members of the Project Management Team for preparation of monthly reports; provide information on the mechanical works, sequence of works, etc, as may be required. Review alternatives to the design proposed by the contractor and review / provide final approval to product data and/or samples. Conduct mechanical site inspections and witness/verify testing & commissioning as may be required on certain occasions.
