Responsible for creating a data repository for accurate reporting as well as ad-hoc and monthly analysis derived from that data for 12 Hospitals and Outpatient Imaging Centers. Involvement with operations to take the data and present it in a way that supports action plans and allows measurements of improvements. · Conceptualize and built a data repository from the ground up combining multiple data sources from systems that don’t interface. · Provide data and views of combined areas where there wasn’t any data or reports available previously.· Developed new reports to understand the distribution of exams for each Turn Around Time metric.· Generate numerous ad-hoc reports covering a wide variety of areas such as volumes, trends, radiologist performance, key word searches, QA, process improvement among others.

Worked directly for the President of KSMG (Kissimmee Surgical Management Group) as the Administrative Director of the group. Reported progress and new project developments to the Assistant Administrator at FH Kissimmee. Responsible for Administrative duties and day-to-day Operations coordination with the Clinical Director of Surgical Services for FH Kissimmee. Supported initiatives related to: Doctor Preference Cards cleanup and accuracy, Scheduling improvements, Clinical Documentation effectiveness, Inventory maintenance and Charges accuracy.· Acted as the physician group liaison when addressing concerns, complaints and requests related to day-to-day operations.· Involved in developing FH Kissimmee’s plan for maximizing surgeon integration to improve the surgical service line. · Developed a number of monthly reports for FH Kissimmee to assist in tracking operational initiatives.

Worked for the Director and Assistant Vice President of Surgical Services. Responsible for Systems and day-to-day Operations maintenance and improvements for all of FH Surgical Services, encompassing 7 campuses and over 700 users. All aspects of Operations related to: Doctor Preference Cards, Scheduling, Clinical Documentation, Inventory, Charges and Clinical Education for new staff or staff that needs re-training.· Provided Education and Team Building activities resulting in dramatically increased Gallup Scores, Employee Engagement, proficient, stronger and a more technically prepared team.· Developed a brand new Year End Inventory Count process that resulted in a 60% reduction in worked hours to perform the count. Reduction of $80K in cost to the system and a higher level of confidence and accuracy of the data· Implemented processes in Scheduling, Clinical Documentation and Charges Modules to eliminate 100% of late charges ($500K p/month). · Working as an active member of the Surgery and Materials Management Steering Committee developed and implemented a structured process to analyze New Products and Technologies entering Florida Hospital.· Oversaw a successful major conversion of our electronic system to a newer version. · Created a GAP Analysis between ORMIS and Surginet to evaluate impact of implementation.· Chaired and participated in the following System meetings: OR Council (monthly), OR System Meetings (monthly), Surgery/MM (weekly), Surgery/Revenue (monthly – chair), Surgery/MIS (bi-weekly – chair).· Coordinated and carried out several Site Visits to showcase Florida Hospital’s operations related to our Tissue Tracking practices, Inventory Count process, elimination of late charges among other topics.

Staff was 90% cross-trained.· Developed a comprehensive Dashboard report, distributed to Management Council on a daily basis. Report showed statistical, financial and demographic information. Same report was adopted by other AHS hospitals.· Responsible for supervising and guaranteeing the accuracy of the hospital’s budget. Responsible for the Directors and Managers education on how to use the system. Responsible for setting up the system to be utilized by over 50 users.· Actively involved in special projects generated by Administration as well as service line Directors, constantly working in an interdisciplinary environment.· Involved in the Directors and Managers orientation and system transition of the Productivity tracker. Developed a tool to further analyze productivity on a monthly and year-to-date basis which was unavailable via the system as deployed. Tool concept was adopted by other AHS hospitals. . Point contact for Corporate Reimbursement during Cost Report season. Responsible for all statistical reporting and financial indicators, as well as DSH interim/annual reporting.

Responsible for all Month End Financial reports, routine reports, budget support and some special projects for both FH Fish Memorial and FH Deland.· Maintained both hospitals’ Census Reports, Productivity Reports, and month end financial reports due to Corporate.· Monitored and researched Supply Cost by Service Line on a monthly basis. Communicated my findings with the Director of Materials Management.· Monitored and reported Scorecard measures to Corporate on a monthly basis for Health Information System and Case Management.· Supported the Finance Manager through the budget process by reviewing the accuracy of the individual department’s budget books.· Point contact for Corporate Reimbursement during the Cost Report season. The Reimbursement Services provides support to all facilities that choose to have Corporate put together their Cost Report. Site visits and interaction with all levels for Management as well as front line staff. · Responsible for completing 75% of the Cost Reports for AHS hospitals. Travel involved to 20+ facilities from East Coast to Texas and Puerto Rico · Developed tools to facilitate and speed up processing large quantities of data. · Assisted the Director in researching Reimbursement issues and data collection.· Bond and Champus Reporting, numerous miscellaneous projects related to Medicare/Medicaid Reimbursement issues.
