As a Senior Manufacturing Biotechnologist, I support the downstream manufacturing floor operations mainly in Chromatography, Viral Reduction Filtration, Ultrafiltration-Diafiltration and Bulk Filtration. In tandem with the role, I also assume the role of an acting shift lead to ensure the smooth floor operations. I am also a trainer for the operations listed above. I am also engaged in Value Stream Mapping (VSM) process as a manufacturing representative to optimize the manufacturing floor operations. I am also engaged as Change Owners to initiate changes within the manufacturing floor. I am also engaged as functional deployment representative for the deployment of SAP S4/HANA system (Jul21-Apr22)

As a production manager, I am responsible for the manufacturing processes and ensure that there is compliance of the manufacturing shop floor to regulatory authorities (PIC/S GMP). I am also engaged to use control charts to monitor production processes. I will also manage the departmental budget to ensure that it covers the operating and maintenance costs. In addition to the progression leading to this role, I am also engaged in technology transfer activities which includes qualification activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) and validation activities (MV/PV).
