The Career Coach is instrumental in the execution and delivery of services offered by Pathways to Independence. The Career Coach will help individuals re-imagine and renovate their goals directed at improving their underemployment or unemployment. The Career Coach is responsible for planning and implementing a comprehensive career advancement strategy with individuals seeking employment or career advancement opportunities. The Career Coach coordinates a wide range of coaching and instructional activities focused primarily on career assessment, job preparedness, coaching, and placement to enhance participants’ employability and job readiness.The Computer Instructor is instrumental in the execution and delivery of computer services offered by Pathways to Independence. Under the supervision of the Economic Empowerment Director, the Computer Instructor will be responsible for the coordination, implementation and development of all computer activities. The Computer Instructor will develop curriculum and instruct participants in areas such computer basics, internet, email and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). The Computer Instructor has the responsibility to help the students develop skills and knowledge consistent with their employment needs. The Computer Instructor will provide valuable support in enabling the program to provide job seekers with the tools necessary to obtain employment and be self-sufficient.Ohio Benefits Bank counselor: As an OBB Counselor I have completed all required training to Interview clients and enter their responses into The Benefit Bank,while verifying client identity and providing client with a copy of all required forms.
