My current role is as a Teacher/Professor (teaching Medical Students and Pediatric Residents), as well as a Clinician (Caring for children with a range of Developmental and Physical Disabilities) in a Developmental Clinic, where I am also Medical Director. In addition, I carry out and collaborate in Clinical research, and have had 9 publications in the past few years with 2 more pending and a chapter on Autism Spectrum Disorder in a Springer publication upcoming. My research interests lie in the area of Autism Spectrum Disorders, Pediatric Acquired Brain Injuries, and Neuromuscular Disorders. I have just been granted tenure at Queen's effective July, 2017.

I assess and treat children and adolescents with a range of Neurodevelopmental Disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorders, Neuromuscular disorders, Hearing impairment, Acquired Brain Injuries, etc. I also supervise and teach Pediatric Residents and Medical Students about developmental assessments, risk factors for Developmental Disabilities, etc.
