Ron brings over 25 years of planning, design, and management to a career focused on architecture for healthcare. His involvement in design development extends beyond project completion, demonstrating a passion for planning and complex problem solving and seeking the best possible solutions to support an institution’s project mission and goals. He is not afraid to “roll up” his sleeves to help find innovative solutions to varying challenges even while managing the project’s design and regulatory processes. Ron understands that solutions start with people in a collaborative process of listening, knowledge sharing and the open exploration of ideas. He has participated in nearly a half billion dollars of healthcare projects in the last decade, including facility master plans, facility infrastructure improvements, the expansion and renovation of Patient Care Towers, neonatal intensive care units, surgical centers, emergency departments, inpatient nursing units, diagnostic and interventional imaging and surgical suites, centers for cancer care, research and pharmaceutical laboratories, and sustainable design solutions. Clients include major academic and healthcare institutions, community hospitals, and pharmaceutical companies.Ron is a supporting member of New England Healthcare Engineers Society, American Institute of Architects, Boston Society of Architects, AIA Academy of Health, and American College of Healthcare Architects. When he is not working, he likes to spend time outdoors with his family, and volunteering his time with youth sports and his local community.
