Employed as a Mechanical Technician IV (Machinist) for Sierra Lobo Inc., Kennedy Space Center, FL. Duties include solid modeling of parts and assemblies to engineering specifications for verification of 2 dimensional drawings. Using created or supplied solid models for the creation of machine programs. Set-up and operation of CNC and manual milling machines and lathes. Set-up and operation of wire and sinker EDM’s. Use of tool-cutter and surface grinders. We produce products in support of various NASA programs and laboratories. We also support the construction of the vehicle motion simulator and all cryogenic and pressurized systems associated with the VMS. Collateral duties include planned maintenance of all shop equipment. I am also the shops chemical and hazardous waste custodian.

Employed as an aerospace inspector for United Space Alliance, Cape Canaveral, FL. Duties include dimensional inspections of manufactured hardware, utilizing hand and electronic measuring equipment. Witness and verification of disassembly, assembly and rework to OEM and government specifications and standards. Inspection of disassembled hardware to verify drawing requirements are met. Performing acceptance test procedures for various valves, filters and other aerospace hardware for final shipment to the customer. Verifying hardware shipped to and received from vendors for special processing meets all requirements. Collateral duties include property custodian of government property in excess of $1,250,000. I also have served on Lean-Six-Sigma teams.

Cape Canaveral, Fl.

Employed as a machinist for United Space Alliance, Cape Canaveral, FL. Duties include programming and operation of vertical machining and turning centers. Manufacturing of flight hardware, ground support equipment, and test equipment for manned space flight systems, using all types of CNC and manual machinery. I am responsible for inspection and documentation of all ground support and test equipment. I work concurrently with engineering and quality control inspectors to achieve the highest quality in the manufacturing of complex aerospace components.

Employed as CNC programmer for Fab-Tech Ind., Rockledge, FL. Duties include programming of vertical and horizontal machining and turning centers and cnc punch presses using Smart-Cam 3-D software. I also work closely with engineers and quality assurance inspectors for both Fab-Tech and our customers. Duties also include design and fabrication of fixtures and jigs for manufacturing of complex aerospace products. My collateral duties include assisting the MIS director with computer and software maintenance on computer and networking systems.

Employed as the CNC lead/programmer for MicroTek Ind., Palm Bay, FL. Performing programming and set-up design for CNC machinery. Responsible for planning and estimating of man-hours, ordering all shop related tooling, set-up and maintenance of computers, networking and software.
