I have been a machinist for 34 years. I can program, set-up and operate all types of CNC and manual machinery. I have worked in production and job shops, as well as prototype and model shop environments. I can use all types of measuring equipment including CMM’s and VCMM’s. I have also held level II visual inspection and dye-penetrant certifications. Current security clearance.I have extensive CAD/CAM and computer experience in both 2D/3D and solid modeling. I can read and right g-code and have run most CNC controls on the market. I have also worked as a contract programmer and consultant, assisting small job shops to make the transition from manual to CNC.I served in the United States Navy as a machinery repairman (MR2) and received an honorable discharge in 1990. I continued to serve in the reserves until 1996.
