Designed overhead (OH) and underground (UG) feeder distribution systems at 13Kv and 23Kv for Florida Power and Light’s Storm Hardening project

As a participant in the Siemens Energy's rotational Co-op program I worked in different groups to gain insight on the various roles engineers play within the company. I have experienced the tasks and responsibilities of the generator auxiliaries group, and in the process learned the skills necessary to maintain and solve customer issues related to these system. I then worked in the thermal performance group where I applied my knowledge of thermodynamics on combined cycle power plants. I helped create models on heat flow software to create heat balance diagrams that were used to evaluate plant performance under various conditions and configurations.

I facilitated study sessions for student in Calculus and physics classes with a focus on group work and creating better study skills so that students can succeed in their classes.
