Countroom Shift Manager
Current*Serves as a dynamic and energetic leader, while fostering teamwork, employee morale, motivation and open communication. *Establishes self as highly credible leader with highest levels of integrity and always acts in the best interests of the property and the company. *Acts as a role model and coach while developing employees using a consistent, approachable demeanor and clearly articulating expectations. *Ensures that team members clearly understand and are held accountable for their performance expectations.*Partners and coordinates with other departments to ensure total guest satisfaction and efficient operations in a safe, friendly, comfortable environment, by well-trained, motivated employees.*Manages count and drop procedures including all members of the count team. *Ensures the appropriate collection of slot machine drop boxes. *Supervises the sorting, counting, strapping and recording the contents of slot drop according to procedure. *Compares information contained in drop boxes to data stored on computer terminal. *Responsible for overseeing minor repairs and maintenance of soft count room equipment. *Maintains general upkeep of soft count rooms. *Contacts technicians for necessary external equipment repair and maintenance. *Schedules staff accordingly and ensures all procedures are adhered to. *Complies with and upholds company expectations including Code of Commitment, policies, procedures, industry regulations, department goals and business strategy.
