The Comfort Group is Australasia’s largest foam and bedding manufacturer. I am responsible for coordinating the NPD process of the bedding division. It involves assisting with developing and evaluating business cases through a stage gate process. Once approved, I am responsible for execution of the NPD plan from costing, through to fabrication of samples within production, and setup in our systems. It also includes supporting the development of marketing materials. My role requires that I engage with multiple stakeholders simultaneously, such as Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Production and various business support functions.In addition to the above, I am involved in various innovation and process improvement projects. My role is trans-Tasman and requires me to travel regularly to our various Australian sites to execute the NPD process where it is needed.

I was responsible for successfully managing the enhancement, maintenance and support of a portfolio of IAG products. It was also responsible for providing product leadership and channel support for the direct market and for direct channel products that are distributed via intermediated channels.
