Collaborating closely with fellow stakeholders and the astute personnel of the Louisiana Department of Corrections, our shared objective revolves around the eradication of solitary confinement practices, the recalibration of disciplinary protocols, and the discernment of severe mental afflictions within the purview of the Louisiana Department of Corrections.Member of the LEAP (Lived Experience Advisory Panel). My involvement taps into my own lived experiences, channeling them towards addressing the distressing prevalence of mental disorders and concurrent substance usage complications within the realm of justice systems.
