Ron is a 25 year veteran of the Missouri Department of Corrections. He has held numerous positions in his career. He started in 1995 as a Corrections Officer I. Then as a Sergeant he worked most positions within the Institution, with a majority of his time being spent in hiring and training. He was promoted to Lieutenant and later transferred over to a Probation and Parole Officer II position. He became a full time trainer in 2010 at Missouri DOC Central Region Training Center. He was later promoted to the Regional Management Trainer where he instructed Supervisor/Management Courses for all areas of the Missouri DOC. Currently his position is the Special Projects Technician for the MODOC Training Academy. He has been on many committees both Departmental and State Committees, most recently the new State Engage Training Committee. He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Columbia College with emphasis in Education and History.
