Ronald Mugaiga is a dynamic entrepreneur and innovator with a strong background in environmental management and sustainable technology. He is currently pursuing an MSc in Environmental Systems Engineering at the University of Zimbabwe and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biosystems Engineering from Gulu University, alongside a Diploma in Environmental Management and certifications in Project Management and Entrepreneurship.As the founder of Ecomak Recyclers and Munakyalo Agrofresh, Ronald is dedicated to solving pressing environmental and agricultural challenges. He oversees technical operations and builds strategic partnerships, leveraging a vast network of customers, suppliers, and financiers to drive the success and sustainability of his ventures.Ronald's work has earned him multiple accolades, including winning the 2022 Climate Launchpad Nationals in Uganda and securing ChangeMakers Seed Funding by StartupXs. He was a finalist in the Social Shifters Global Innovation Challenge under the Climate Category and has spoken at the Social Enterprise World Forum. Recognized for his leadership, Ronald was named one of the Global Excellence Awards Top 40 CEOs of 2021 by Excellence Talks and featured in Uganda's New Vision as part of the 40 under 40 challenge.With a passion for environmental sustainability and innovation, Ronald continues to make a significant impact in his community and beyond.
