CurrentI am currently taking part in hands-on breeding projects that cover activities in fields, glasshouses, and indoors. In the field, I am responsible for evaluating large groups of plants, running field trials that included everything from planting to pest management, and leading teams of students in harvesting. In the glasshouse, my work ranged from sowing and transplanting to organizing breeding efforts and collecting genetic samples. Indoors, I focused on quality control processes like seed cleaning and testing. Additionally, I'm skilled in using tools like Excel and R Studio, along with specialized software, for effective data management and analysis. This experience has given me a comprehensive skill set in practical plant breeding, from the meticulous management of breeding processes to the sophisticated analysis of genetic data.
