My responsibilities include the following: • Maintaining the price information in MS-Dynamics. I Liaise with vendors to be kept up to date on their latest product, product-relationship, and KIT information. I add and maintain the product information in MS Dynamics including all item information currently designated “mandatory” so that field sales, e-commerce, order-processing can always have access to complete and accurate information on items. • Trade purchasing: Ensure we in line with the relevant sections of the Logistics Policy and the Master Planning process in MS-Dynamics, including all purchase orders for sales fulfilment or inventory replacement. • freight, shipping and clearing: Ensure we in line with the relevant sections of the Logistics Policy and the relevant process in MS-Dynamics, including all shipping/clearing for sales fulfilment or inventory replacement. Maintain a history of average shipping costs per item in MS-Dynamics Product Information Master. Where required, provide new quotations of shipping costs utilizing either least-cost process or fastest shipment process. • My role also requires that I interact with other functions in the business. Where I need input from or provide input to other functions then work to ensure goal clarity and process support, solving problems quickly and to a high standard. Always solve problems from first principles, using root-cause analysis.
