Michigan Technological University Fall of 2019 graduate with a BS in Sports and Fitness Management degree and Minor in Coaching Fundamentals. With my degree I plan to pursue a career in coaching, team management, or training. Through numerous courses requiring group projects as a student at Michigan Technological University, I have learned to listen and take orders as well as manage others. As the team leader of a semester long project in which we developed the advertising and marketing for a local business, I relied on structured schedules with communication to maximize the team’s efficiency and increase new productivity, through problem solving resulting in a successful outcome. Throughout my class load, work, and extra-curricular involvement, I have become very organized and my skills of time management have developed tremendously. While working in semester-long teams, I have learned to become a self-starter and proficient in working with people of varying backgrounds and fluctuating schedules.
