Working as an individual contributor both on-site and remotely as part of the Ticketing Studio team, provided subject matter expertise for ticketing and related information to other teams within the department and to Finance, Operations and other business units from both Walt Disney World and Disneyland theme parks. • As part of the multi-million dollar, multi-year Ticketing Replacement Project which replaced the over 20 year-old existing system, enabled near-real time reporting for Walt Disney World theme parks, two water parks and several ancillary locations such as mini-golf courses for critical operational and business needs by designing and building Business Objects universes on a read replica of a new Azure SQL ticketing application database. • Converted hundreds of Business Objects Web Intelligence reports to this new ticketing system utilizing these universes and worked with all teams which consume ticketing data to ensure their requirements were fulfilled. • Partnered with several Finance teams to develop revenue recognition reporting via custom SQL Server queries and Business Objects reports to ensure the new ticketing system is in balance with the SAP Accounting system. • Created custom queries, views and stored procedures via Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio to simplify ticketing data from the new Azure SQL application platform database enabling easier consumption for both direct query users and those using Business Objects, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI and MicroStrategy Dossier. • Ensured safe and gradual reopening of Disney parks and resorts in compliance with pandemic restrictions by setting maximum guest attendance. Worked with a team to create MicroStrategy dashboards integrated with MariaDB database; analyzed guest density, social distancing, and movement patterns captured by cameras. • Assisted team with validating the conversion of ticketing and related data from Teradata to Snowflake.
