Recreation Division Manager is responsible for overseeing the Recreation Division including special events, athletics, aquatics, and programming. As a Athletics Coordinator, I develop and manage high-quality athletic programming and facility operations for the Special Facilities Department within BREC. Assist with development of operating budget for programs or the facility. Experience with Vermont Systems “RecTrac” software and programming for events in various cultural backgrounds. Youth Advocate provides comprehensive case management to youth in East Baton Rouge Parish Schools. I partnership with middle school/high school students to identify and attain goals in the areas of employment and education, discipline, self-sufficiency skills, health and wellness, relationships, professionalism and personal advocacy. I carry a caseload of, on average, 25 students, and work within a team that fosters positive transitions and impactful outcomes for students. I also implement all Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) services that are designed and are provided to waiver students who have significant behavioral difficulties that jeopardize their ability to remain in the community/classroom of choice due to inappropriate responses to events in their environment.

Assists Recreation Manager in planning and conducting the Recreation/Avocation program. Seeking applicants that work well with youth between the ages 16 and 24. Able to engage students in Marketable Skills Attainment (MSA) Activities may include the following: Boot Camp, Kickball, Life Interaction, Arts & Crafts, Sewing, Debate, Lost History, Tutoring, Zumba, Anime.
