In my most recent position of Vice President - Marketing & Product/Service Development, with the Butterfield Group, I developed the Institutional Trust business across the Group. Previously I headed the Corporate Trust and earlier oversaw the Compliance function.My key achievements include:- Successfully developed the Institutional Trust business across the Butterfield Group in the Bahamas, and formulated impactful business and marketing strategies- Carried profit and loss accountability as Head of the Butterfield Corporate Trust line of business- Designed and implemented a comprehensive in-house training program for Trust Officers at UBS Trustees (Bahamas) Limited, and led a due diligence team in the review of the purchase of another trust company- Acquired 10 years experience in private legal practice then in-house as a Wealth Planner with Assante Asset Management Limited in Toronto.I hold a Bachelor of Laws degree, was articled and called to the bars of Ontario (1990) and Manitoba (1991), and completed the Canadian Securities Course with Honours.
