Business Development: • Created a retail on-line financial services division including the creation of a business plan mapping out the divisions 2 year plan along with documents providing an overview of the retail on-line financial services industry. • Managed project and technical requirements for creation of GraceTrader website • Negotiated with vendors for costs involved in creation of website and market center partnerships. Created entire website with $0 dollar spend coming from firm and still receive a competitive cost per trade pricing for ongoing use of the site. The training was coordinated and delivered to multiple locations to ensure consistency within this division of the company. • Worked with members of operations to ensure that areas of risk that crossed over from their area were improved and the same controls were put in place to ensure risk was mitigated.Poduct Management:• Held role of product manager for the company search of a new streaming data provider. I was able to negotiate a contract with a new vendor that delivers a superior product to our clients and at the same time saves the company $178,000 on an annual basis going forward. • Took responsibility for a project to coordinate all quote data providers under a single agreement that will allow Brown|Co to play lower exchange fees going forward.
