• The Production Assistant will provide comprehensive support to the production of all programmes. He/she will help across several areas of work, including setting up and maintaining systems to support editorial quality.
• To conduct relevant content research online and through a range of other sources in order to inform programme content.
• To assist the production staff in summarising information, writing briefings, and inviting programme guests and audience members.
• To help set up the programme recording venues and check the equipment is functioning well before recording starts.
• To assist the Producer during the recording of the programme. This may involve marshalling the audience, managing the guests and providing the presenter with information, among other tasks.
• To assist the Presenter(s) by providing them with the information they need to familiarise themselves with topics and profiles of studio guests before the broadcast.
