Duty was as an Aero Scout rotary-wing pilot in support of the US Rapid Deployment Force. Additional responsibilities included unit technical and tactical training officer. I was personally responsible for training and qualification of 175 persons in multiple skill categories. Additionally, I served as the “Officer in Charge” of the US Army Pathfinder School and led effort to update operational doctrine and curriculum to better incorporate helicopter and joint air operations.
