Lead all maintenance activities ensuring the systems of an industrial laundry facility are appropriately functioning. Responsibilities include but are not limited to improving functionality and reliability of all production and facility equipment including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems equipment and components; managing and scheduling all plant and equipment work assignments; performing and scheduling all preventative maintenance assignments; developing and implementing safety processes and procedures; managing building, equipment, capital expenditures and parts and labor budgets; preparing maintenance reports; identifying and evaluating parts suppliers, negotiating with inside and outside service companies; conducting training for all maintenance staff; supervising and mentoring maintenance team; maintaining staffing levels; and responding to emergency alarms

Manage the construction projects and installation of various equipment and services in order to start the Baton Rouge, LA facility. Train and manage personnel from production, maintenance, crate repair, and logistics. Ensure production and repair goals are met, while keeping safety the number one priority. Maintain and trouble shoot equipment during breakdowns. Accurately control human resource items. Control budget / accounts payable items. Keep stock and order consumable PPE, and tools. Communicate concisely with customers, Transport, coworkers, and employees. Manage inventory, plan and schedule logistics based upon customer need and cost. Plan and take part in maintenance activities. Compile daily reports from production, maintenance, repair, and logistics. Integrate data within the company’s French network

Ensure production department employees are thoroughly trained. Oversee certification program. Ensure company policies are enforced and employees are developed. Interview and make recommendation in hiring process. Work with raw material suppliers. New equipment startup and qualification. Be proficient in the following equipment: computer, calculator, copy machines, and 2 way radios. Must be knowledgeable in the operations of all production equipment. Follow safe work practices as required for all personnel. All OSHA required training including right to know, blood borne pathogens and first aid.

Perform preventive maintenance in Exxon BRSCC plastics plant. Service, replace, and align pumps and motors. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems with rotating, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Inspect, store, use personal protective equipment properly and in designated areas. Assess issues and plan for repair and downtime. Write plant work procedures, work permits, job safety analysis. Plan Prioritize and manage work request, preventive maintenance, and work projects.
