Special Investigations and Intelligence Unit -I conduct criminal, financial, regulatory, cybercrime, and intelligence investigations into alleged violations of Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) and applicable State regulations. In addition; collect, analyze, and document the information obtained; prepare comprehensive reports for distribution to and use by the Board, the Nevada Gaming Commission, applicable city and district attorney offices, the Nevada Attorney General’s Office, and other authorized State and Federal agencies; investigate disputes involving gaming activities; ensures regulatory compliance by gaming licensees; develops and operates informants; completes assigned special projects and administrative duties, and performs related work as required.

• Conducted thorough investigations from introduction of contraband and drug activities to help develop strong criminal cases.• Collected crime scene evidence, and investigated secondary locations to build detailed cases based on sound evidence handling practices• Performed background investigations for 350 + personnel in 2019• Supervised 6 employees and performance of tasks and managed 300+ offenders• Small arms qualified
