CurrentCurrently participating in a study that includes evaluating reservoirs in several giant fields. The purpose of the evaluation is to study the effect on oil recovery of several variables such as field management practices, drilling and completions practices, and facilities constraints.January 2011-December 2011Evaluated the potential oil and gas recovery from an operator's recently drilled wells and suggested methods of improving recovery. The wells are located in a new North Texas play.Member of a multi-disciplined team that studied a giant reservoir using simulations of multi-pattern sections of the reservoir. The primary purpose of these studies is the estimation of additional oil recovery possible from different EOR processes. Responsibility included development of a portion of the data input for the simulators and making presentations to the client.January 2010-December 2010Assisted an international oil and gas company in creating a field development plan (FDP) for a gas field offshore from Northwest Australia. The FDP was presented to the host government, which subsequently granted approval for development of the field. Field development is in progress.Provided guidance to the engineering members of a multi-disciplined team and participated in the evaluation of five reservoirs in two giant oil fields. The purpose of the evaluation was to study the effect on future oil recovery of field management practices, field development plans, drilling and completion practices, and facilities configuration.Assisted a team that evaluated 65 oil and gas fields for a possible initial public offering in the host country. Personally evaluated three gas fields and one oil field. The oil field contains 35 producable layers, over 200 productive blocks, and about 350 wells. In addition, supervised the evaluation of eight additional fields.
