This large scale conversion can then convert the algae oil into bio-fuels for auto or aircraft . Large scale affordable photobioreactors (PBRs) have been tested at pilot scale and patents are now approved. New patented methods allow for industrial scale production. This new concept production method can reduce CO2 for industries on a large scale. These methods have been submitted to the Elon Musk X-Prize competition for the recuction of CO2.
