Managed $500,000 IT System conversion Year 2000 project. Responsible for implementation of new software and hardware, internal support through design & training and interface with outside consulting resources.Chaired Inventory Reduction and Control Team which provided reductions in raw material, WIP and finished goods. Increased inventory turns from 9 to 12 per year during that period.; Performed daily duties managing Purchasing and Production. Developed department into proactive manufacturing planning and tighter scheduled production floor. Converted existing paper based system into computer spreadsheet driven cost estimating system. Responsible for quoting and implementing all new business between two facilities. Managed all projects from inquiry, prototype and production. Implemented Design of Experiments, Failure effect mode analysis and process flow.Key Contributions & AchievementsImplemented over $20 million in new business over 5 year period of time.
