In this position, I am responsible for a variety of duties for the Athletic Division of the City of West Palm Beach.___________ Plans and implements assigned athletic programs and leagues___________ Develops athletic programs under the direction of the Athletics Manager___________ Prepares, plans for storage of, and issues athletic equipment. ___________ Maintains appropriate program registration records, tallies program attendance for reports, and performs post program evaluations; makes recommendations on athletic program improvements and delivery of athletic services___________ Ensures the proper setup of various sport specific athletic fields, gymnasiums and other athletic facilities___________ Coordinates the use of outside facilities for games and practices___________ Assists with the scheduling of assigned facilities and facility users___________ Maintains inventory of athletic equipment___________ Assists with the preparation of social media content, flyers, website content and may perform other public relations work relating to City athletic programs___________ Assesses personnel and equipment needs and provides recommendations to the Athletics Manager on staffing levels, equipment purchases and replacements and budgetary needs___________ Maintains rosters, registration forms and enforces established league rules and bylaws___________ Responsible for opening and closing of athletic fields/facilities ___________ Performs related tasks as required

Develops, executes, oversees, and assesses athletic and wellness programs; advertises programs, tournaments, and special events in accordance with department and city objectives___________Carry out supervisory responsibilities such as leading, training necessary and non-essential employees and volunteers, and enforcing department and city regulations, rules, and policies___________Works with organizations and municipal departments to arrange field and facility utilization___________Examines how parks and facilities are used and make suggestions for improvement___________Oversees field rentals, which includes processing, reviewing, and enforcing___________Keeps track of inventories, procurement, and cost control across all athletic equipment ___________Maintains receipts and payments in the designated area to ensure solid financial managementcreates yearly budget requests; ensures effective and efficient use of budgeted monies, staff, resources, resources, and time___________Oversees and supervises assigned operations to meet objectives while utilizing resources; informs staff of authorized plans, policies, and procedures
