My present role as a decommissioning shift support officer at the Kurnell Caltex Refinery. I am responsible for managing a team of contractors to achieve production targets set in the production plan in a safe and efficient manner. The main critical accountabilities of the job are to1. Drive the environmental performance of the work team.2. Care for the health and safety of my shift team.3. Optimise the operation of plant and equipment in the area of responsibility.4. Assist with efficient maintenance of plant and equipment.5. Develop and maintain a high level of emergency response capability. 6. Co-ordinate and assist in the emergency response training for the shift team.7. Maintain a high level of communication with the shift team.8. Manage shift member’s time to achieve efficient and fair outcomes.9. Ensure the shift team uses the process safety management systems.
