I am a professionally trained chef in the pursuit of pairing great flavor with great nutrition. As a founding member at Ora Organic, we've redefined what a nutritional supplement can and should be. We see a future where sustainable and plant-based nutrition heals our bodies as well as our planet. Where supplements aren’t just a percent daily value on a label - but is wholesome, nutritious, sustainable and most of all, transparent. We’re making that future a reality by replacing cheap, synthetic chemicals found in many supplements with responsibly-sourced and delicious plant-based products directly from Mother Nature herself. Growing up in a family of restaurateurs, I was immersed in food culture at an early age. Many nights were spent studying the controlled chaos of a busy kitchen. The rapid CHOP CHOP CHOP of sharp blades hitting cutting boards, the dance of flickering flames from the range, the crack, sizzle, pop of veggies hitting hot oil, the flash of bright green scallions dashed into dishes at the last second, the aroma of tempered spices wafting from the hot line, the clanging of pans thrown into a soapy dish pit and the unending calls from the pass with the occasional Spanish, Chinese or English expletive thrown out in response, this is what I grew up knowing as “Home.” Upon graduating from UC Berkeley from the Haas School of Business, I began working as a consultant in the heart of San Francisco. My itch for the culinary arts got the best of me and I left consulting to cook professionally and attend culinary school. Upon graduating, I was featured on 3 television shows, won a Chopped style cooking contest and cooked for Pulitzer Prize Winning food critic Jonathan Gold.www.ora.organic
