Developed a large data analysis platform with Java and MySQL. This allowed engineers to access Terabytes of data through a simple Matlab interface. Using modularization extensively, this large system was broken down to small manageable parts. Analyses that once took weeks to perform were completed in hours. This fundamentally changed the mindset of engineers on what was computable and allowed for thorough analyses. This permitted the company to make decisions with a complete set of hard data.In addition, helped design a data collection framework. Designed how real time data was recorded, stored, downloaded, transmitted, and finally processed. This spanned over multiple protocols serial, USB, TCP/IP, and custom protocols. Applied abstraction to clearly define the responsibilities of each layer of the protocol. This level of control gave the company the ability to achieve design specification with minimal risk.Note: Cellex Power was purchased by Plug Power in 2007
