As a PMO Coordinator I was responsible for supporting all PMs and their projects from various business units within the company by providing project process (framework) guidance/support with stage gates and deliverables, as well as technical support for the online tools they utilized (Project Web App, Power BI, MS Project). Also, I was able to closely work with the portfolio managers in the PMO by giving them visibility to urgent matters such as new projects demand, change requests, project closing processes, and compliance of the projects according to the PMO guidelines and metrics. After the initial engagement and receiving feedback from all the stakeholders in the company regarding the PMO process, we designed and implemented an improved project process that was very well received and praised as more efficient and relevant to the project stakeholders. As the new process was embraced rapidly, I started to focus on increasing the efficiency of project performance analytics by developing reporting templates and dashboards for the IT Portfolio based on the information in the database, in addition to using the reporting tools in order to deliver weekly and monthly reports to maintain alignment on project performance and risk management. All my contributions combined led to my managers and colleagues recognizing me as an instrumental team member for the success of the department.

Along with a co-worker from the social responsibility department, and with a budget of $30,000 (of which we managed to save 50%), we designed and implemented the project "Emprendimiento y Reforzamiento" (Entrepreneurship and Reinforcement). The main goal of this project was to promote the education of rural students by giving them the tools to become junior entrepreneurs and agents of change that could contribute to the sustainable development of their communities. This project was a first of its kind in the company and was successfully executed and implemented. It set a new standard for social programs and projects for Electroperu.This project not only allowed me to be able to coordinate with different people throughout the company - it also allowed me to communicate with people from rural villages and communities in the Peruvian Andes. I was able to plan, execute, and monitor how 55 high school students would be - and were - positively impacted. This was considered by the CEO to be the flagship project of Electroperu. Furthermore, as the CEO's right-hand man, I helped him by providing visibility and daily tracking of urgent projects for most departments within the company. I also directly contributed to other projects by creating work plans, comparing quotations, giving recommendations, creating/modifying terms of references, compiling information, and preparing presentations for the board of directors.

Hello Zum is a SaaS and multi-carrier platform that helps manage sales and post-sales tasks for insurance distribution channels. At the time I was chosen to be a PMO intern at Hello Zum, the company was a growing startup with no more than 10 employees. The work I did during my time there contributed greatly toward its growth.Alongside the PMO Manager, I worked as a project coordinator for the main IT project at the time - Marsh Rehder (insurance broker). With everyone's effort, we were able to get the approval of the business case and the development of the project charter in order to become Marsh's insurance policy administrative system provider. Some of my responsibilities included scheduling, planning, process mapping, control and supervision of activities and tasks, meetings with Marsh executives and final users, weekly project status reports and risk identification, and preparation of presentations for Hello Zum corporate and other prospective customers.I was also able to help the IT and Product Manager throughout the development process of the digital platform - user experience analysis (UX experience and design), programming, quality assurance, and internal and user certification - by providing visibility, traceability, and follow ups to the tasks assigned to their teams.In addition, I assisted with administrative tasks in HR (selection and incorporation processes), Accounting (registration of new employees, payment of payroll and taxes), and Finance (in charge of petty cash).

During my time at the Universidad del Pacifico, I was chosen to be an admissions intern thanks to a recommendation from a marketing supervisor I had previously done an internship with as a spokesperson for the university. Being an admissions intern is where I first gained experience with CRM software and was able to apply my Excel computer skills in order to gather, process, and create valuable statistics and reports from a database of applicant information obtained through the many admissions processes throughout the years. Also, I continued to assist my previous supervisor with marketing campaigns and by creating dynamic tables and reports to measure the effectiveness of said campaigns (workshops, seminars, guided visits, etc).
