OneCare provides an innovative, cloud-based Continuous Care Management Platform that monitors the health of people afflicted with chronic diseases. OneCare has developed a patent pending intelligent internet-based portal to evaluate information received from a patient and as needed, to alert the patient, family or caregivers. Data is collected via Bluetooth devices and automatically uploaded to the Cloud. OneCare reminds the patient when to take medications, get weighted, check blood sugar and any other action which is part of the care plan. Compliance is rewarded with positive feedback. Non-compliance results in an additional reminder sent to the patient, and an alert sent to family and/or caregivers, depending on pre-set plan parameters.

Working closely with key accounts in the healthcare and pharmacy field, Catalyst consults with some of the largest retail, outpatient and mail order systems. The company also consults with hospital and physician systems. ▪ Led Apple Mobile Medical’s search for a new system. Worked with the Apple Mobile Medical Occupational Health Executive team to recommend a system that meets their growing needs. ▪ Currently working with a large retail pharmacy chain in Texas. Partnering with the directors of technical departments of Pharmacy operations to evaluate their current system outages and recommend solutions. With my background and expertise in cloud-based pharmacy systems, I have reviewed the architecture, functionality, and infrastructure of the centralized, in-house proprietary system. Currently I am leading their development and architecture teams in designing solutions for their current issues.

Recruited by NDC Health COO (formerly COO of First Data Corporation). Initially chartered to create and organize a team to develop new products in Atlanta and Phoenix for NDC Health (now Relayhealth). Work collaboratively with Product Management and Finance. Member of Senior Leadership Team.▪ Assumed responsibility, as a member of the TechRx Acquisition Team, to lead the technical due diligence prior to NDC Health’s acquisition of TechRx in June 2002.▪ Led the New Product Development Team comprised of up to 100 employees in Architecture, Development, Product Design, Project Management, and Quality Assurance, to conceptualize, develop, and launch EnterpriseRx, a state-of-the-art retail pharmacy system for large chains.▪ Created a business case and research to implement an enhanced user interface for EnterpriseRx, to dramatically reduce the training curve. We are working with a Human Cognition company to help develop, communicate, and innovate this solution.

As VP of Research and Development, chartered with identifying and developing innovative, leading edge technology solutions that address evolving market opportunities and Cytura client requirements. With responsibility for all R&D activities and staff, directed five teams of 30 people in Architecture, Database Services, Product Management, Content Management, and Foundation Services.

Recruited to Avio by Microsoft's healthcare evangelist, John Carpenter. Directed five teams of 55 people in Database Services, Systems and Architecture, Patient Scheduling, Patient Billing, and Clinical Patient Records. As a member of the Executive Team, was involved in the development of strategic plans and budgets and was involved in corporate growth strategy planning.

Recruited to lead the development of PACE Clinical applications: Clinical Repository, Clinical Management System, Clinical Pathway Analyzer and Knowledge Base. Led four teams of 60 people in Database Services, Systems and Architecture, and Clinical Management Development.Developed the Clinical Repository and the Clinical Pathway Analyzer from the ground up using the Microsoft family of products.Also worked in partnership with Iowa State University on a grant to develop genetic algorithms that were used in the Clinical Pathway Analyzer product.

Led a team of C++ and 4GL programmers in the development of client server applications. Chartered with the mission of defining and implementing the three-tier client server architecture. In 1994, assumed responsibility for systems administration, database services, workstation support, and systems architecture. Fully responsible for research, development, and implementation of: Decision Support, Biller's Workbench, Patient Accounts Management, and Nursing systems. Used three-tier architecture: Microsoft Windows as the client, Tuxedo as the OLTPs, and MS SQL Server and Oracle as the relational databases.
