About Ron Hause

My interests are in developing novel computational and experimental methods to address bottlenecks and limitations in gene and cell therapy. I try to innovate machine learning and bioinformatics-based approaches to better understand, interpret, and predict the effects of patient biomarkers on complex human phenotypes, such as cancer, genetic disease, and variation in response to chemotherapeutics.I leverage my 15+ years of experience in conducting and leading statistical research on clinical, manufacturing, and novel 'omic datasets to identify opportunities to iteratively improve early and late R&D with machine learning and let data drive decision making through its proactive and thoughtful use and integration. At ShapeTx, I'm driving innovation in the application of generative AI to accelerate the discovery and optimization of RNA therapeutics, delivery vehicles, and manufacturing technologies. By harnessing the power of combining ML with a wealth of high-throughput biological data, we aim to revolutionize the development of gene and cell therapies and bring more effective treatments to patients faster.Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of collaborating with talented scientists and clinicians who share my commitment to pushing the boundaries of what's possible in gene and cell therapy. While I'm proud of the progress we've made, I believe that the most transformative advances will come from our collective efforts as a research community. If you're interested in learning more about my work or exploring potential collaborations, please feel free to reach out! Let's work towards a future where we can better leverage data to make personalized gene and cell therapies more specific, effective, and safe for disease treatment.
