CurrentArchitect / SDM for Technology Infrastructure supporting the Global Wholesale Bank Developed and Executed Strategies for implementing Appropriate, Complete and Consistent Monitoring across the Global Wholesale Bank Technology Infrastructure, comprised of over Six Thousand Production Servers, supporting approximately One Trillion USD in Client Payments Daily. Defined Gold, Silver and Bronze Monitoring Guidelines for Business Service Aligned (Appropriate) Levels of Monitoring Integration. Developed Automation Strategies to deliver the Bronze Baseline of Monitoring service. Developed Monitoring Blueprints for Key Technology Infrastructure components (Websphere, Weblogic, Apache, etc.) to ensure implemented monitoring is Complete and Consistent. Lead a small team of consultants to evaluate the Current State Environment through a Manage-By-Fact approach to Measure Existing Systems Monitoring Capability; Identify and Quantify Gaps and build Remediation Project Plans/Roadmaps to meet the Target State. Developed YoY roadmaps and presented Initiatives each year to meet the target state. Worked with Command Center and LOB Partners to regularly report a consolidated status of Projects, BAU and Upcoming Efforts. Partnered with teams to implement Blueprints for all monitoring tiers to enhance the Monitoring Effectiveness and drive down total LOB Alerts by over 50%. Projects led and assisted included efforts across all layers of activity: BSM/Business Service Management; BAM (BAM-lite); BTM/Business Transaction Monitoring (POC); Customer Experience Monitoring; Technical Transaction Tracing; Predictive Analytics; JVM Monitoring; Log Aggregation; DB Monitoring; MQ Monitoring; Base Health and Welfare.
