My main task was to unlock the data that the site had hidden away for far too long. I got our Akamai performance data, our Gomez performance test data, and our Omniture business data into dashboards that we can consume at a glance, by utilizing each company’s respective data API. I have also exposed via Splunk a wealth of data that has been hidden away in obscure log files on obscure servers for years. I am a big proponent of unlocking data and making it easy to consume, better data drives better decisions.
