Part of the Management Team. Key projects include:- Tunisia: Spearheaded programs to increase resolution rates for employment disputes and improve the justice infrastructure for SMEs. A collaboration with the Tunisian Presidency, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Social Affairs, the Labor Inspection and the National Bar Association. Funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of the Netherlands in Tunisia. - Syria: Directed the Syria Justice Innovation Process, which brings together Syrian stakeholders in a safe space to discuss and design new solutions for gender-based violence, access to ID documents and other pressing justice issues. Complex stakeholder management and innovation in a fragile context. Funded by the EU.- Iraq: Managed a program that supported Iraqi CSOs with innovative solutions for housing, land, and property rights issues of the Yazidi population. A close collaboration with UN-Habitat and built on our data work with UNHCR. Funded by The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO).- Regional Collaboration: Organised stakeholder dialogues with Ministries of Justice in the UAE, Morocco, Tunisia, and Lebanon to develop strategic programming for improved access to justice.

Directed a comprehensive startup support program - the Justice Accelerator - across East and West Africa, MENA, Southern Africa and Ukraine, which supported over 170 justice-tech startups. Part of the Management Team. Key achievements include:- Startup Support Programs: Orchestrated comprehensive support ecosystem for justice-tech startups, including hackathons, incubation programs, a 5-month accelerator, and an investment readiness program. In collaboration with local startup experts, this full life-cycle approach has been instrumental in advancing startup growth from initial concept to market readiness.- Innovation Hubs Development: Successfully established local innovation hubs in Lagos, Nairobi, Tunis, Johannesburg, and Kyiv. These hubs have become critical in scouting social entrepreneurs and providing comprehensive support.- Impact Investment: Set up the Innovating Justice Fund in collaboration with FOUNT and Clifford Chance. As a member of the investment committee, I contributed to strategic decisions and oversight.The Justice Accelerator served as the foundation for a support program for Civil Society Organizations, which was implemented in Niger, Burkina Faso and Iraq.Directed Justice Innovation Labs, in which 20-25 diverse stakeholders design, pilot and implement new justice services. - Applying Design Thinking to the justice sector to transform initial concepts into financially and operationally viable solutions. - Partnering with national and state governments to ensure long-term sustainability with policy-level and financial buy-in. - Covering a wide range of topics, labs were implemented in Uganda (community justice), Tunisia (employment), Nigeria (domestic violence), Niger (land), and Ethiopia (community justice).Responsible for the AI strategy, focusing on how AI improves both the methodologies of HiiL used in programs and its internal workflow and operational efficiency.

A collaboration between corporates in urban development, knowledge institutions, NGOs and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. HCC pioneered a systems change approach which integrated the needs of the urban poor into large-scale urban infrastructure developments in Delta Cities: cities impacted by climate change and rising sea levels. HCC worked in Jakarta and Manila, and developed financially sustainable solutions for access to energy and affordable housing in slums directly affected by infrastructure projects. HCC worked as part of master planning processes.HCC was initiated by AkzoNobel and had 25+ core partners (and 150+ stakeholders): a.o.
