I am proud to announce that I have co-founded the Financially Fit Kids Foundation together with Femke Hogema and Bart Bosch. Our mission is: All children are financially fit, so that financial problems are prevented and dreams come true!I've been curious about money all my life, and after 30 years I still haven't finished learning it. Tony Robbins says “The secret of living is giving”. I believe that passing on knowledge about money to the next generation is the greatest gift you can give an individual. Through the foundation, I want to pass on the most important lessons about money to as many children as possible and thus positively influence as many lives as possible, not only in the Netherlands, but all over the world!

The chartered accountant is expected to have insight into (the consequences of) human actions in organizations. This action relates, for example, to developing and implementing a strategy, managing the organization or providing leadership in a changing environment or market. The course Organizational Behavior & Professional Judgment and Management & Organization deals with various aspects of human actions within organizations from a business perspective. As a teacher, I can contribute to providing the student/accountant with tools to make an assessment of possible uncertainties and/or business risks in daily practice.Personally, I am proud that I can contribute as an alumni, another check on my bucket list!

As a teacher of business economics, Ethics and Stocks and Valuation, I can contribute to the business economics development of the students at the IBHS. This International Business & Hospitality Studies prepares students to become effective leaders, as managers or entrepreneurs through a balanced curriculum that combines education with management theory and applied business projects.

I started my own accounting firm, Virtus Accountancy, at the end of 2006. In addition to traditional accountancy work, I am active as a trainer, teacher, interim manager and remote controller. My hobby is optimizing taxes and helping entrepreneurs make figures practical, accessible and even fun. After participating in the first digital nomad cruise (Nov 2015), I advise digital nomads how to deal with Dutch taxation. I was professionally trained by KPMG (still grateful for that) and inspired by, among others, Antony Robbins (UPW 2015 London, UPW 2023, DWD 2023). In March 2021, I completed my master's degree in Tax Law at the VU with a thesis on (tax) residence of (digital) nomads/global citizens.

Provide and develop training for self-employed people together with Femke Hogema.Healthy Finance has developed a package of short, practical and, above all, very understandable financial training courses that are also a lot of fun, especially for self-employed people and SME entrepreneurs! We offer, among other things: Basic administration and finance training, accounting training and training on income tax returns.

In my role as Director of Operations at AccountAnders, I was at the forefront of one of the potential changes in Accountancy. AccountAnders started on September 1, 2013 and grew rapidly. This enormous growth flow required a strong manager who guarantees quality and continuously works on the necessary innovations. I took on this role and performed it with great pleasure. I wish Jasper, Lennart and Sarina and the others the best of luck in further expanding this great concept!

Ethics for AiB (mandatory PE course 2012-2013)"Ethics for AiB" is an experience-oriented course that forms a powerful basis for professionally handling ethical issues. The balance between technical and personal mastery is central here.Professionally, participants are informed about relevant regulations regarding Ethics, including from the VGC. In the area of personal mastery, participants become aware of how their character traits and leadership styles influence the handling of ethical issues.The course is preceded by a personal self-assessment via the internet (a set of questions that provides insight into your current ethical profile). You are invited to translate the results during the course into a concrete step-by-step plan.The course is given together with Rien Hagenaars from UniovisionIn addition, I have acted as a professional trainer for the NBA on a number of occasions for its Ethics Training in collaboration with KPMG.

From early 2002 to early 2005 I worked as an office director at AVM Accountants & Adviseurs. Managed approximately 35 employees. In addition, first point of contact for larger clients, active in both accountancy and business consultancy and responsible for results, acquisition and relationship management and office development.Ergo: responsible for the entire ins and outs of the Kollum location

From 1999 to early 2002, worked as a controller (supervising 5 employees) for NGMI with 5 companies (wholesale/production/retail in natural stone), right-hand director.

After completing HEAO RA in 1994, I joined KPMG. During my employment until 1999, I passed Heao-AA, NIVRA and Doctoral Information Management Nyenrode. At KPMG I grew from assistant accountant to head assistant.
